I PIACENTINI

From the heart of Emilia, a territory with a tradition of excellence in food, Salumi Piacentini DOP “I Piacentini”: genuine, prepared by our artisans with passion, and guaranteed  from raw meat all the way to your table.

Only products whose characteristics are inherently dependent on their production area are awarded the “Protected Designation of Origin” registration by the European Commission. Coppa Piacentina, Pancetta Piacentina and Salame Piacentino obtained the PDO registration in 1996. Piacenza is the only province in the EU with 3 dry-cured meat products holding a PDO designation: this is an acknowledgement of our territory’s strong tradition in the production of coppa, pancetta e salame. The preparation of DOP salumi follows strict production specifications, inspired by local traditions; meat provenance is exclusively from Emilia Romagna and Lombardia; productions are subject to controls by a specific body designated by the Ministry of Agriculture: this is how DOP quality is guaranteed! 

“I Piacentini” range offers the three PDO Salumi either in whole pieces, which can be found at the Deli Counter, or in convenient pre-sliced packages, also in the Antipasto formula, combining the variety of taste of the three products
